.....Merry Christmas and a happy new year
About 20 of them, I think! AS cute as they were, they are an absolute pain in the butt. There are so many really noisy roosters that need to go .......and they S&#T everywhere.
Until yesterday they were feral. Sleeping in the hedge and raoming wherever they please. The front paved area is unusable without an hours sweeping, they have dug up all my pots and gardens and eaten all my vegetables. So, they are now all caged in, where they can't get my garden, too late for summer planting.
I made it to the final corner of the property, but haven't been outside much since. Jo is battling eczema, quite hard. And I think it has a lot to do with the grass/pollen etc from the Ace high grass outside.
the grass is so long he can barely look at it.
We have had a lovely Christmas and are expecting guests for New Year. We will have Grandpas dog for a few days in January too. We are hoping she will make a dent in the local rabbit/hare population as they attack any new trees we put in.
I'm sorry I have not put up the plan of the land. Nothing much has changed. other than Jo taking up lots of time. (he's currently asleep on my lap)
| Jo, on a good Eczema day. |
I have big hopes for next year. hopes and dreams that we might start feeling like we belong.
That's all for now, Jo is awake again.
